Hecla Island sits inside Hecla-Grindstone Provincial Park, and it hosts the only Long Course triathlon in Manitoba. Swim 1.9 km in the calm of Gull Harbour Marina, hammer 90 km of flat highway beside open wilderness, then run 21.1 km of road and trail pressed right up against Lake Winnipeg.
